On the Block
It's a difficult decision to make as to which piece to rework. I think it's more important to capture an idea while it's fresh than to let it stagnate and die.
The sacrifice to be made is to rework a painting "Wildflowers" (photo on the right). I like it however, I always thought I could do better and I'm really enjoying this new style (photo on the left). The rework canvas is the same size as the finished painting.
I'm excited to allow a new painting to emerge. It's like a pupa in a chrysalis emerging as a beautiful butterfly.
